Please note, this service is only available as part of a canoe / kayak rental package. We rent open canoes, sea kayaks, touring kayaks, river kayaks and sit-on-top kayaks with all associated kit. We transport to most locations in the Scottish Highlands. At the end of your trip, we will collect and return your group and equipment to your accommodation or onward travel destination. We can drop you off at hotels, airports, bus stations or railway stations.
Rental & Shuttle Service for Canoe and Kayak Journeys
Active Outdoor Pursuits Canoe and Kayak Rental & shuttle service is available throughout the Scottish Highlands, and is particularly popular for the Great Glen Canoe Trail and River Spey descents. The service is designed to save time with transport and equipment logistics, and to increase your time on the water. Active will transport groups and equipment to and from the start and finish points of their route.

Our shuttle service is calculated from Newtonmore to your destination and return at £125 + £1.00 per mile (up to a maximum of 8 passengers and 8 boats). If your group is between 9 and 16 people, the price is £250.00 + £2.00 per mile.
