Ski Lessons in Aviemore & the Cairngorms – Learn or improve your skiing with Active’s ski school; Active offers beginner, intermediate & advanced ski & snowsports lessons from the Lecht, Cairngorm mountain & across the other ski centres in Scotland. But we primarily aim to use the Lecht as it is the best learning environment in Scotland for skiing.
We will select the ski centre with the best conditions and weather as well as the most suitable runs to match our clients ability.
We also offer other snowsports in Aviemore and the cairngorms area like snowboarding and winter skills.

***2024/25 Ski Season – Our lessons will take place at The Lecht***
Fully inclusive package:
- Lift passes
- Skis, boots, poles & helmet (if you want or need)
- Full day lesson – meet in the morning at the venue.
- Ski instruction in the morning & afternoon (at least four hours)
- More than 20 years experience in the industry
- Fully qualified instructors
- Open group lessons & private lessons available
- Beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons available, fully inclusive and tailored to you
- Friendly & welcoming instructors + bookings team on hand
- Individuals, families and groups – we cater to all
- Minimum age for group lessons is 8. Minimum age for private lessons is 5
Beginner Ski Lesson
- Friendly welcoming instructors and bookings staff
- Learning how to control your speed with a wedge
- Inclusive ski lessons tailored to suit your ability level in the most suited terrain on the day
- Learn about the equipment
- Learn how to turn your skis
- Start to Link turn together
- To be able to ski in control down the beginner slopes
- Most will be able to start looking at parallel skiing by the end of the lesson
Intermediate Ski Lessons
For these lessons we recommend contacting us and discussing your aims prior as a private day may be far more suitable.

- Skiing on the larger and longer slopes
